Shirk to pray on carpet
Can you show me ONE hadith which says the Prophet (pbuhhf) prayed on carpet? Come on Sunni's, get digging. Please, no fabrications!
Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
Actually to clarify it a little, the prayer is batil (void) if sujood (prostration) is done on the carpet mat. It is not shirk.
Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
I believe the sister is asking in the same way as some sunnis (mostly wahabis) claim we worship our turba by performing sajjda on it hence it being shirk!
In the same way, do they then worship their carpets (massala/janamaz).
Shirk or no shirk, it's definitely bidda

Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
^^^^^^ Exactly. They say it's 'adding to our prayer' when we do sijood on a clay piece. But why is it not 'adding to their prayer' when they do sijood on carpet? The Prophet (pbuhhf) NEVER EVER done sijood on carpet....
By the way, which one of their 4 imams believe's you can do ablution with ANY liquid? Even orange juice?

Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
interesting
i know shias use the turba, and sunnis dont, if one does not use a carpet or a turba, then he can pray on the soil aslong as its clean right? were both done by our imams (saw) as in with and without the turba? if yes, then we as shias should also try practicing without carpet and turba? as theres nothing wrong init?
just a thought
and about the orange juice lol, i dont think ive heard anyone say that we can do ablution with fruits or the juices.

Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
The Prophet (saw) used to pray on a mat made of straw.” This is according to Sunni Hadiths such as (Al-Bukhari and Ibn Majah) it is just a shame they dont follow the Sunnah, the way they should.
Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
it must be a curse for some non shias.............
one prays salaat, but yet his salat remains incomplete
one begs for help, but yet rejects his Gods ya Ali (saw) madad
one tries but these attempts only further the destination
one attempts to read salaat, however he may, he loses the sajda by choosing a carpet over earth.
how unfortunate are these creatures?

Please explain this sentence? Astaghfirullah are you saying Mola Ali (as) are Allah(swt) nauzobillah??
Or are you saying that Maula (as) are Allahs(swt) appointed mushkil kusha [ the overcomer of problems] ?

yes brother in this sentence i meant:
"Maula (as) are Allahs(swt) appointed mushkil kusha [ the overcomer of problems"
its like asking Allah (swt) for help and then holding a belief against Allah (swt) to how he (swt) provides the help,,

Re: Shirk to pray on carpet
thank you for the explanation alialiali. Without a doubt Mola Ali (As) are the help and aid of Allah (swt) to all creatures.

Hahahahahahahaha you joker. But one thing i don't understand is we prove our Mazhab from Quran and THEIR books. They still reject it so that means their books aren't sahih? Guys i've got some extracted info saved which is regarding Gustakhi-e-Rasool within the books such as bimari(bukhari) and mushrik(muslim)
