Re: who was the first ever faqeer?
Would you take what has been written as proof? or even persuasive in any argument?!
It is unsubstantiated, analogous, opinionated and biased.
If there is any proof then i am willing to accept, but would anyone care to define what they are talking about first and then continue?
People have this strange habit of shirking away from actually defining their stance before defending it!
Define your view of faqar and faqir before you decide to post so that if the definition is in dispute it can be debated, and then the practicalities!
Otherwise you are wasting everyones time.

Re: who was the first ever faqeer?
hi
thanks again brothers,
it wasn't somthing with proof nor can i provide any, it was somthing passed down from one person to another. I haven't really gone deep into it or asked for any proofs as i dont follow this. It was purely for a discussion, this is a very strong belief of a certain group in pakistan. They do claim to have knowledge and information of the first ever faqeer (defined as saint) they follow the tareeqat of saints. But anywas, this topic is over as there isn't much to discuss on this.
many thanks
