question about the quran
hi
this question may lead to aniother question,
a while ago i read an article on hubeali.com website about tehreef of quran and how we should always treat quran we have as complete, meaning the one we hold in our houses is questionable to being the original/completed one?
alot of sunnis also accuse shias to believe tehreef of quran. i mean if others can make false quran websites such as
http://www.islamicity.com
http://www.submission.org
http://www.islamonline.com
the above flse quran sites were advised false by http://myislamweb.com/forum/index.php?topic=1195.0
if todays people can do it now, why couldn't the enemies like 1 2 3 do it. But yeah i know it isn't a subject that muslims like to talk about alot.
is it true that quran is not in its correct order?
again depending on the answer, it will lead to another question
thank you

it is better not to reject ahadeeth, since that can lead to kufr
this is what aimmah asws have ordered us
if you are getting a hadeeth about tehreef; i say do not reject it, rather turn it back to aimmah asws
order of imam asws till zahoor is that we follow this quran, and this will lead to heaven
it is pretty simple
i hope you get my point

Re: question about the quran
so basically you agree that there are hadiths of tehreef and many members on this forum would agree with you too of tehreef of quran.
the quran that is known by maula Ali (saw) would also be same be known by all imams (saw) which obviously is the true quran.
since we all know the standard tadition, a norm even of yazeedis was to revise and learn the quran.
then it also makes sense that this would be a tradition with imams (as) and thier children who were not imams to be taught the quran. Obviously they would not be taught the yazeedi ways and would be taught the true salah, true fast and true quran. So this brings me to the question:
if we agree that imams (Saw) taught their sons the true quran, then it could be a possibility that there may be a handwritten quran by one of the great great grandsons of one of the imams (Saw)?
has anyone heard of any claims? claims of having such quran that was revised and later written by one of the sadaat/family members? and if anyone was to claim it, what would you say? what questions would you ask?
thank you
shah

Re: question about the quran
What a strange question and what dubious responses!
There is no tehreef in the quran and akhbari are as deviant and corrupt as the usoolis.
Of course we can reject hadeeth otherwise we are rejecting the Hadeeth of the Prophet (saww) that 'tally the hadeeth with the quran and if it conforms accepts it but if it does not then throw it away'.
So would you not reject all ahadeeth because its kufr? or would you not reject this hadeeth because it would be kufr?
I think this is a conundrum!
The words of the quran cannot have changed as the Imams( As) have not told us that this book has been altered and the quran testifies to its own perfection as do the Aimma (as).
The quran has been misused but not changed. If the quran has been changed, and thus the veracity of the hadeeth cannot be ascertained at this time, then it is better to become a non muslim as that would be being true to yourselves more than following a religion whos guidance could not be without doubt.... and the quran states it is free from all doubts!

Re: question about the quran
after WWII an uthmaani quran (written at the time of usman) which was in the possession of the nazis was returned to turkey. its words are identical to modern day qurans.
