Did Karbala take place?
Salam, to my understanding most of the evidances we have on Karbala have been narrated by the enemys of Ahlulbayt (as). When it comes to the concept of Ilme Rijal (Science of Hadith) If a hadith has been narrated by the enemys of Ahlulbayt (as) such hadiths are rejected, thus If this is the case how can such people who believe in Rijal be certain If most of the events in Karbala took place?
Re: Did Karbala take place?
What an excellent question for the rijalists....i await some hopefully interesting replies!
Re: Did Karbala take place?
I thought this was going to happen... where all the people who jump on hadith on Rijal? can somone one give me one Sahih Hadith regarding the accounts that took place.
Re: Did Karbala take place?
Ilme rijal is introduced by the ahle sunat scholors which later adopted by the shia scholors all these facts r illustrated in a book named{روضات الجنات فں
{ROZATUL JANAAT FI AHWAL O ULLEMA WA SADAT}wiich is written by the great mujahid syed mohammad baqir kho ansari in this book he acceped that the ahle sunat imam shafi is the founder of ilm e rija
to my research it is totally opposite to the to teachings of quran and masomeens a.s bec -ause quran says u should confirm the words not the person who talking may allah put down his curse at such mujtahideen who walk against the ahdees of our masomeen a.s i invite all of u 2 study the 18# sermon of Hazrat Ali a.s in Nehjul Balagha in which my Imam has open the veil which such cursed mujatadeen wear.Lanat at muqasireen beshumar

Re: Did Karbala take place?
Brother you claim Imam Ali (as) curse mujatadeen, I would be very carefull to say that. As for a start where Mujhtids present in that time period? If so what was the role?
Re: Did Karbala take place?
I would also like to add that after seeing the current trend from the 'rijalists' in regards to the events and personalities (a.s) of Kerbala, it seems as if questions like the above would play right into their hands.
This would certainly be a good question for them but only to strengthen their plight to dismiss the importance of Kerbala and Azadari

Re: Did Karbala take place?
scientists question by saying, does god exist? the muslims rephrase it by asking, does god NOT exist? so prove if god doesnt exist first which opens up a wider debate...
it would be interesting to see if there is any kind of proof out there that supports the event of karbala not occuring?

Re: Did Karbala take place?
When we look at ilme Rijal (science of hadith), will come to know alot of the events that took place in Karbala have been narrated by the enemys of Ahlulbayt (as). However when it suits people they will take hadiths from our enemys, but on the other hand they would reject hadith that show the true status of Ahlulbayt (as) is this double standards or not?
Re: Did Karbala take place?
silat, thats true, everythings been mixed soo wel in peoples hearts, its hard to distinguish between what is from the enemies and what isn't, it would be a good thing if one could place enemy hadiths about karbala on one side and aima (saw), sahabis (as) hadiths on the other on a site?
this is such a big thing, the entire shia world runs on these hadiths, the enemies will be the exaggerators and the ones that lower maulas (saw) status, surely the enemies would do this in karbala, they would do anything to lower maulas (saw) status.
like you said silat warrior, hadiths that give a hint of the status of maula (Saw) are ignored and rejected and hadiths by the enemies are accepted, possibly lowering the status of maula (saw). Does that not make one worse then the enemy?
